About the cabin

Levi Log Cabin is located in Finnish Lapland at the heart of Levi. By staying here, you can enjoy the authentic atmosphere of magical Lapland and Finnish cottage culture, while remaining within walking distance of everything you may need. S-Market with a wide selection of food, a liquor store, several restaurants, pubs and other shops is only a stone’s throw away, or as it is said in Lapland, everything is as close as a reindeer can pee. Not to mention that you can walk to the slopes (300 metres) or take a ski bus within 50 metres of the cabin.

The cabin is made of Finnish deadwood, and its logs are massive. You can spend hours just admiring the wood that is hundreds of years old and grown in Finland; it is a very unique building material in cabins.

Wintertime, after a long day outdoors, you can light a fire in a Finnish heat-retaining soapstone fireplace or enjoy the warmth of your own sauna. The cabin has floor heating and is always cosy and warm, with an indoor temperature of +21 °C.

The cabin can accommodate up to 8 people. On the first floor, there is a living room, one bedroom with a double bed, a kitchen, a bathroom with 2 showers, a sauna and two toilets. Upstairs, you will find 2 bedrooms with one double bed and two single beds and 1 open-plan bedroom with two single beds. On top of the stairs, there is a gate to keep our little guests safe.

The kitchen is fully equipped (stove, oven, microwave, coffee machine, water boiler, toaster, etc.), so you can cook for yourself, walk to a nearby restaurant, or order take-away. You can find some Finnish recipes and specialities on our website to try.

Bedding, towels, and end-of-week cleaning are included in the price. We provide a phone number you can call with any concerns or for instructions during your holiday. Should you need local assistance, our maintenance is always a phone call away.

The cabin has a drying cabinet for your outdoor clothes, so you can be sure they are dry the next day. There’s also a washing machine, an ironing board and an iron if needed.
