1-2 days before your stay, we will text/email you to give details on how to check in and out. There is a locked key box outside the cabin, so during check-in and check-out hours, you are free to come and go as you wish. Check-in time is 3 pm, and the cabin will be clean and ready for your arrival. Check-out time is 11 am. Should you wish to request early arrival / late check-out, please contact us. We can’t guarantee this, so please check in advance.
The cabin is at Viprakka 4A, Kittilä. Whichever transportation you choose, please use this address. With Google Maps, you can zoom in on the nearby services, slopes, etc.
Arriving by car 🚗
There is a free parking space outside the cabin. Two cars fit well, and small vehicles fit in the carport (wouldn’t try an SUV). The left side carport belongs to Viprakka 4A and the right side carport to Viprakka 4B, so make sure that your closest neighbour has some space, too. If you wish to rent a vehicle, several service providers are available at Kittilä Airport.
Arriving by plane 🛬 + 🚕 or 🚌
If you arrive by plane, you can take a taxi outside the airport. If you’d like to ensure you have a cab, we can make a reservation in advance. The taxi fare to the cabin is approximately 65€. You can also take a bus from Kittilä airport. You can purchase tickets in advance (approximately 10€ per person) or pay the driver directly by card. You will hop off at Levi at the Hullu Poro Hotel (the driver will let you know when you are there; when you see a red hotel building, you have arrived). The bus stop is approximately 400 meters from the cabin; if you have a lot of luggage, a taxi may be more convenient.
Arriving by train 🚂
The closest railway station is in Kolari. You can book a taxi or take a bus from Kolari to Levi. We are happy to assist with schedules and links.
The towels and sheets are included in the price. This means the beds are ready for you to sleep.
Hand soaps, basic shampoos, and conditioners are available for your use. For the sauna, you can use disposable bench pads or your own towel. We also have an iron, an ironing board and a hairdryer.
The cabin is for your private use; there is no breakfast service or on-site staff. The closest grocery stores are about 500 meters away (S-Market and K-Market), and the cabin usually has the basics (oatmeal, salt, sugar, coffee) available for use. We don’t keep them in the storage, but there are often leftovers. Shops are open until 10pm and open at 7am. If you would like breakfast items ready and waiting for you, please ask us to arrange delivery at an additional charge.
Please note that the electrical sockets are Europlug and you may need an adapter for your devices.
Depending on the time of your visit, Levi may be extremely cold. Please pay extra attention to your winter clothing and shoes, especially for the little ones in your family – hats, gloves and proper shoes are a must. Levi has several stores that rent winter clothing. You can always ask us for tips or advice.
