Few FAQs:
1-2 days before your stay we will text/email you to give details how to check in and out. There is a locked key box outside of the cabin, so within the check-in and check-out times you are free to come and go as you will. Check-in time is 3 pm, when the cabin is clean and ready for your arrival. Check-out time is 11 am. Should you wish for an early arrival / late check-out, you can reach us. We can’t promise you this though, so please always check in advance.
The address of the cabin is Viprakka 4A, Kittilä which ever transportation you wish to arrive. With the Google maps you can zoom in for the nearby services, slopes etc.
There is a free parking space outside of the cabin. Two cars fit well and small cars fit in the carport (wouldn’t try luck with an SUV…). The left side carport belongs to Viprakka 4A and the right side carport to Viprakka 4B, so make sure that your closest neighbor has some space, too. If you wish to rent a vehicle, there are several service providers at Kittilä airport.
If you arrive by plane, you can take a taxi outside of the airport. If you wish to make sure you’ll have a taxi, you can call one of the taxi companies and book your ride in advance: Levi-Kittilä taxi, Levin taksikuljetus, Lähitaksi Levi, Levin taksiliikenne Kati, Lapland taxi or Menevä (nationwide). There are several companies and we don’t make commercial collaboration with any of them. We are happy to hear your comments, especially if you are pleased with the service and happy to recommend further. Taxis in Lapland are reliable and cars are good. You can get a fixed price for your convenience or drive with the meter, both are fine and usually there is no big difference in the price. Please note that driving with a taxi in Finland is expensive. The prices vary depending on the time of your arrival and the amount of passengers, price range to Viprakka 4A has been between 37-45€.
You can also take a bus to Kittilä airport, the bus stop is about 400 meters away from the cabin. If you arrive to Rovaniemi, you can choose a bus or a taxi (taxi may be cheaper and more convenient if there are several travelers or you travel with kids). The closest railway station is in Kolari. We are happy to assist you with your Google search or making sure all is good.
The towels and sheets are included in the price (unless separately agreed not to). This means the beds are ready for you to sleep.
The cabin is for your private use, this means there is no breakfast service. The closest grocery stores are about 500 meters away (S-Market and K-Market) and most of the times cabin has the basics (oatmeal, salt, sugar, coffee) that you can use freely. We don’t keep them in the storage but there are often leftovers. All the easily spoiling things (milk, eggs etc.) are always cleaned away before your arrival.
There are hand soaps, basic shampoos and conditioners for you to use. Also there should be enough toilet paper for your stay. Kitchen towel is always changed before your arrival. For sauna you can use disposable bench pads or your own towel.
Please note that the electrical sockets are Europlug and you may need an adapter for your devices.

Päivä tai kaksi ennen saapumistasi lähetämme sinulle viestin sisään- ja uloskirjautumisinfoineen. Ulko-oven vieressä on koodilla avautuva avainlaatikko, joten voit kirjautua sisään ja ulos kirjautumisaikojen puitteissa siten, kun sinulle parhaiten sopii. Sisäänkirjautumisaika on kello 15, jolloin mökki on puhdas ja valmis lomaanne varten. Jos toivot myöhäistä uloskirjautumista tai aikaista sisäänkirjautumista, ole meihin yhteydessä mahdollisimman aikaisin. Järjestämme tämän mahdollisuuksien mukaan, mutta emme voi luvata muutoksia aikoihin automaattisesti.
Mökin osoite on Viprakka 4A, Kittilä, millä kulkuvälineellä sitten saavutkaan. Google Mapsilla voit tutustua myös lähialueen palveluihin.
Mökin edessä on hyvin parkkitilaa. Kaksi autoa mahtuu hyvin ja pienet autot voi myös parkkeerata autokatokseen (tila on kapea, joten katumaasturilla voi olla tekemistä). Vasemmanpuoleinen autokatos kuuluu Viprakka 4A:lle ja oikeanpuoleinen Viprakka 4B:lle, joten huomioithan naapurin asukkaat pysäköinnissä. Jos haluat vuokrata auton, Kittilän lentokentällä on useita autovuokraamoja.
Jos saavut lentäen, kentällä on yleensä takseja. Jos saapuvia lentoja on useita (Kittilän kenttä on vilkas), voit varata taksin etukäteen esimerkiksi täältä: Levi-Kittilä taxi, Levin taksikuljetus, Lähitaksi Levi, Levin taksiliikenne Kati, Lapland taxi or Menevä (valtakunnallinen). Yrityksiä on monta ja me emme tee kaupallista yhteistyötä kenenkään kanssa. Kuulemme mielellämme kommentteja, erityisesti jos haluat suositella tiettyä yritystä muille. Toistaiseksi taksiliikenne on Kittilässä varsin rauhallista ja luotettavaa. Voit valita joko kiinteän hinnan tai mittarilla ajon. Mittarilla ajon hinta mökille on vaihdellut vuorokaudenajasta ja asiakkaiden määrästä riippuen 37-45€:n välillä.
Voit myös saapua/lähteä lentokenttäbussilla Kittilä airport, pysäkki on noin 400 metriä mökistä, Hullun Poron edessä. Lähin rautatieasema on Kolarissa.
Pyyhkeet ja lakanat kuuluvat hintaan (ellei erikseen ole muuta sovittu), joten sängyt ovat valmiina.
Mökki on seurueenne yksityisessä käytössä, mikä tarkoittaa, että aamiainen ei kuulu hintaan. Lähimmät kaupat (S-Market ja Levimarket) ovat noin puolen kilometrin päässä ja yleensä mökiltä löytyy perustarpeet (kaurahiutaleet, suola, sokeri, kahvi), joita voit käyttää vapaasti. Emme pidä aktiivisesti perustarpeita yllä, mutta mitä löydät, voit käyttää. Kaikki helposti pilaantuvat elintarvikkeet (maito, munat jne.) siivotaan aina pois ennen seuraavaa vuokralaista.
Mökillä on käsisaippuaa, sekä tavalliset shampoot ja hoitoaineet. Myös vessapaperia löytyy koko vierailusi ajaksi. Keittiön pyyhe vaihdetaan aina vuokralaisen vaihtuessa. Saunasta löytyy kertakäyttöisiä peflettejä, mutta voit toki käyttää myös omaa pyyhettäsi.
